Terms & Conditions

Please read the following Terms & Conditions before entering the Blue Eyes Bow Ties 10th Anniversary Photo & Story Competition.

Promoter: Blue Eyes Bow Ties, Wiltshire, UK.
The competition is openworldwide to anyone aged 18 or over.
Entry isfree and no purchase is necessary.
You do not need to be an existing Blue Eyes Bow Ties email subscriber to enter.
One entry per person is permitted.
To enter, you must email Blue Eyes Bow Ties with:
- one photograph showing yourself, or someone special to you, wearing a Blue Eyes Bow Ties product;
- where and when the photograph was taken;
- a few sentences explaining the occasion and why the memory is special;
- confirmation that you have permission for Blue Eyes Bow Ties to use the photograph and accompanying story as described in these Terms & Conditions.
Entries close at11.59pm (UK time) on Tuesday 8 September 2026. Entries received after this time will not be included.

This is ajudged competition, not a random prize draw.
Entries will be judged on:
- the story and memory behind the photograph;
- how interesting, touching, unusual or memorable the occasion is;
- how well the photograph complements the story.
Photographic quality is not a deciding factor. The photograph does not need to be professionally taken.
The judging process will include at least one independent judge who is not involved with Blue Eyes Bow Ties and is not entering the competition.
The name of the independent judge will be made available on request.
The judges’ decision will be final.

There isone prize: a£40 Blue Eyes Bow Ties gift voucher.
The voucher will be valid for2 years from the date of issue.
The voucher cannot be exchanged for cash.
If the winner spends less than £40, no cash or other alternative will be provided for any unused balance.
If the winner spends more than £40, they will be responsible for paying the difference.
The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for another prize.

The winning entry will be announced during the Blue Eyes Bow Ties 10th Anniversary Live Event at approximately8pm UK time on Thursday 10 September 2026.
The winner will also be contacted directly by email onFriday 11 September 2026.
The winner must respond within7 days of the winner notification email.
If the winner does not respond within 7 days, Blue Eyes Bow Ties reserves the right to withdraw the prize and award it to the next highest-scoring eligible entry.

By entering, you confirm that:

you took the photograph yourself, own the copyright in it, or have permission from the copyright owner to submit it;
you have permission from every clearly identifiable person shown in the photograph for it to be entered into the competition and used as described in these Terms & Conditions;
where a clearly identifiable person shown in the photograph is under 18, you have permission from their parent or legal guardian;
the photograph does not infringe another person’s copyright, privacy or other rights;
you grant Blue Eyes Bow Ties permission to reproduce and use the submitted photograph and accompanying story on:
- the Blue Eyes Bow Ties website;
- Blue Eyes Bow Ties social-media accounts;
- Blue Eyes Bow Ties email marketing;
- the Blue Eyes Bow Ties 10th Anniversary Live Event;
- other promotional material relating to the anniversary competition.
You willretain ownership and copyright of your photograph.
Blue Eyes Bow Ties may make reasonable edits to submitted material, including cropping or resizing photographs and shortening accompanying stories, provided that the meaning of the story is not materially changed.
Selected entries may be shared during the anniversary celebrations before the competition winner is announced. Being featured does not mean that an entry has won.

Blue Eyes Bow Ties reserves the right to reject entries that:
- are incomplete;
- contain false or misleading information;
- do not feature a Blue Eyes Bow Ties product;
- do not comply with these Terms & Conditions;
- contain material that is unlawful, offensive or otherwise unsuitable for publication.
Blue Eyes Bow Ties reserves the right to verify the eligibility of an entrant or entry before awarding the prize.

Personal information supplied in connection with the competition will be used to administer the competition and contact the winner.
Any separate consent given to receive Blue Eyes Bow Ties marketing emails will be handled independently and in accordance with theBlue Eyes Bow Ties Privacy Policy.

Blue Eyes Bow Ties may make available limited information to demonstrate that a valid prize has been awarded, normally the winner’s surname and county for a UK winner, or an equivalent region/country for an overseas winner.
Entrants may request that this information is not published, or that the amount of information made available is reduced.
Where required, Blue Eyes Bow Ties may still provide relevant winner information to the Advertising Standards Authority.

Blue Eyes Bow Ties reserves the right to cancel, suspend or amend the competition only where circumstances outside its reasonable control make this necessary.
The prize will be awarded as described. If circumstances outside Blue Eyes Bow Ties’ reasonable control make that impossible, a reasonable equivalent may be offered.
By entering the competition, entrants confirm that they have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws ofEngland and Wales.
